Major level of security is granted using webservices like:Project Honeypot, StopforumSpam, Botscout, Fspmalist, Spamhaus, Akismet, Defensio and Mollom. Added protection to KUNENA post submission. Add an accessible ajax CAPTCHA on Joomla! form. Several type of Captcha can be used instead of the classic distorted image like, math questions, ascii art , audio or Roman number. The code check and refresh are made with ajax. There is no need to hack nothing of joomla core files.
